If I am not wrong, early Speedmaster had the dot over 90. The Moon era. But Omega did away the dot over 90 on later references till recently when they brought it back in the 3861. In fact it's utterly ridiculous. Older Speedmasters had the dot on the top of the "0" in the "90" on the bezel. Then, Omega placed the dot next to the "90" for many years, so this "Dot Over Ninety" was supposedly coveted. Now that they've gone back to DON the dot next to the "90" is more desirable. LOL.
